AS MEDIA HORROR PLANNING

Happy New Year AS Students! If you are anything like me you are full up with mince pies, xmas pud and turkey.  If you don't want to produce your own turkey I suggest you get going with your production planning :-)

On your return on Monday I do expect to see some solid planning which will include:

• Story synopsis

• Beginnings of storyboard - if not complete

• Mood boards - ideas maps (anything visual which shows your initial ideas!)

• Location Research (Recee photographs)

• Castings Research

• Research into existing horror film openings

• Research into distribution and production companies

All of these must be visible on your blogs so that I can see your progress.
You only have the first TWO WEEKS back to complete all planning.  You will have to film (come rain or shine or snow!) week beginning 19th January 2015.

A2 EVALUATIONS AND DEADLINE FOR COURSEWORK

Happy New Year to you all!  Too many mince pies, xmas pudding and turkey? I have! Change of subject...Coursework....

Just a reminder that I will need to see evidence that all of you have started your EVALUATIONS for your production coursework.  It is your choice how you present your responses to these on your blogs, but remember the exam board are looking for Digital Creativity.  I am going to book a Chromakey session in the TV studio for your first lesson back.  I am hoping that most of you would have at least written up your evaluation responses so that you will be able to record these first week back.  You only have the first TWO weeks when we come back to complete all aspects of your evaluations and all blog work must be complete for FINAL SUBMISSION on 19th January 2015.

Final submissions will include:

• Research and Planning

• All 3 Creative Products clearly visible on the Blog

• Evaluation

To produce your responses via Green Screen or Chromakey you will need to have responses planned for the first Wednesday back (7th January).  This will give you time to film these in the TV studio and edit these in AVID in E113.
